According to a story in the Wall Street Journal, which cited a person familiar with the situation as a source, Elon Musk is anticipated to reaffirm his ambition to purchase Twitter Inc. when he addresses the staff of the social media business on Thursday.
According to a report that was released on Wednesday, the CEO of a company that manufactures electric cars and discusses his strategy for Twitter, including the role of advertising and subscriptions, is likely to clarify recent comments he made about working remotely and talk about his strategy for the social media platform.
Reuters sent a request for comment outside of normal business hours, but Twitter and Tesla did not immediately react to the news organisation.
According to Forbes magazine, Elon Musk is the wealthiest person in the world, and he is now attempting to acquire Twitter for the price of $44 billion.
Musk had said earlier this month that workers of Tesla were obliged to be in the office for a minimum of 40 hours per week, thereby shutting the door on any remote work that might be done.
After finishing Wednesday’s trading session up 2%, Twitter’s share price increased by almost 5% in after-market trading.
