Anne Bramman, Chief Financial Officer of Nordstrom, has notified the business of her desire to resign, as reported by Nordstrom, Inc. To ensure a seamless transition, she will stay with the firm until the third quarter 2022 financial reports are released. She will leave the firm on December 2, 2022.

She also supported a number of strategic projects to increase profitability and build skills that will power our company’s long-term expansion. Anne has raised the financial department via her dedication to excellence and talent development. We wish her the best as she moves on.”

Upon Bramman’s departure, Michael Maher, senior vice president and chief accounting officer of Nordstrom, will take the post of temporary CFO. The retailer has initiated an internal and external hunt for a permanent CFO.
Maher joined Nordstrom as controller in 2009 and has more than 25 years of expertise in finance and accounting. He is responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis, company growth, treasury, and investor relations in his role as chief accounting officer. Prior to his appointment as chief accounting officer of Nordstrom in 2020, Maher held the position of senior vice president of finance from 2017 to 2020. From 2011 through 2017, he worked a variety of financial leadership positions at Nordstrom.

The business reaffirms its financial projection for fiscal year 2022, which was originally disclosed on August 23, 2022.
